Abstract
In this study, 45 individuals (18 female, 20 male, and 7 juvenile) of the Yellow-bellied Toad, Bombina variegata were collected from Karacahasan Mountain region (located in the Enez district of Edirne province in northwestern Türkiye) in 2015–2016 and examined for helminths. Two species of Digenea (Gorgodera cygnoides and Pleurogenoides medians) and one species of Acanthocephala (Acanthocephalus ranae) were found. This study is the first helminth study and only helminth study conducted on B. variegata from Türkiye.
