A study of mixed teaching method based on BOPPPS combined with rain classroom in ophthalmology probation

To explore the application effect of mixed teaching method based on BOPPPS and rain classroom in ophthalmology probation. Objective The 24 regular students in our hospital were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group. Methods Forty ophthalmology trainees in our hospital were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. The control group adopted the classical LBL teaching method, while the experimental group adhered to the student-led method and carried out the mixed teaching method based on BOPPPS and rain classroom, according to six steps: bridge-in, objectives, pre-assessment, participatory learning, post-assessment and summary. Results The theoretical and operational scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group. Conclusion The mixed teaching method based on BOPPPS combined with rain classroom can improve the effect of ophthalmology internship.
