In vivo analgesic and anti-inflammatory efficacy of new imidazole (1, 3-diaza-2, 4-cyclopentadiene) analogues synthesised from Schiff base, as well as their characterization

Abstract

Abstract By reacting substituted amine and substituted benzaldehyde in an equal amount with glacial CH3COOH, an array of 1, 3-diaza-2, 4-cyclopentadiene derivatives (2a-2h) were produced in a large yield and excellent quality. It serves as a catalyst to produce substituted Schiff's base (intermediate). In order to create the intermediate (base) Schiff, ammonium acetate and benzil were further reacted with ethanol. "Mass spectrometry", "FT-IR", "1H NMR", "13C NMR", and elemental analysis were used to describe each of these compounds. In mice along with rats with carrageenan-induced paw oedema, the spontaneously generated analogues have been investigated as painkiller and soothing properties. Ingredients (2g) shown strong analgesia (89% at 100 mg/kg b.w.) and (2a, 2b) soothing (100% at 100 mg/kg b.w.) activity in comparison to the widely used medication diclofenac salt (100% at 50 mg/kg b.w.). The other substances had effective analgesia and soothing properties.
