Abstract
Abstract
This research takes into consideration heat assimilation and heat generation, as well as the dissimilar characteristics of the two fluids, to analyze the convective flow of the fluids in a vertical channel. Magnetoconvection in a vertical container with two electrically conducting regions is analyzed using a two-zone model. Both fluids are assumed to retain their transport properties. The channel walls are maintained at differing temperatures. The resultant coupled non-linear equations for momentum and energy are solved analytically by using the standard perturbation technique. When Br=Pr Ec (heat conduction from a wall) is small, this technique may be used. Various elements affecting the velocity field, temperature field, and concentration field in connection to heat assimilation and heat production are discussed, and their effects are graphically shown.
The effects of magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) on the observed velocities, temperatures, and concentrations were shown.
