Abstract
In this research, some cases of cavernous and cystic lung lesions were studied in both Al-Mouwasat Hospital and Damascus during the year 2023. The practical study of this research was based on a retrospective study of clinical cases, by studying patient files and records, relying on spectroscopic radiological diagnosis, and comparing the findings. With surgical reports and biopsies for patients. The research aimed to compare the results of a simple chest scan in the clinical cases studied, with the results of a CT scan, in addition to determining the most accurate method of diagnosis. The results showed that CT scanning is the most accurate and reliable radiological method that confirms clinical results. Therefore, it is the most important in evaluating and discovering cysts and caverns to give an accurate idea and diagnosis about the characteristics of the lesions that may be present, which may include: location, shape, edges, walls., content, differences as well as monitoring.
