Abstract

Abstract

Bakonybatrachus fedori has been described based earlier on one incomplete right ilium as a holotype, and one fragmentary maxilla, angulosplenial, and scapula, originally classified as Discoglossidae. Meantime, some new specimens as fragmentary maxilla and ilia, have been unearthed from the late Cretaceous (Santonian) vertebrate site of Iharkút which are described herein supplementing the existing knowledge from the species. Meanwhile, more publications dealt with the fauna of the fossil vertebrate site of Iharkút, so this work was supplemented by some paleoenvironmental, and paleobiogeographical aspects using them.
