Abstract

Abstract Based on the waste status of exhausted steam waste heat in nuclear power plant conventional island, schemes to generate electricity by extracting waste heat from steam are proposed. Through the design and research of power generation scheme based on waste heat of exhausted steam, design and analysis of turbine, analysis of scheme applicability, the feasibility of using exhausted steam for power generation is discussed. Final studies show that, according to the characteristics of exhausted steam, the steam power generation or Rankine cycle of organic working medium method can be used to build the waste heat utilization system.
