Abstract

The Internet, as an important infrastructure for the development of digital economy, is crucial in the process of economic high-quality development. The annual panel data of 284 cities above prefecture level in China from 2009 to 2020 are selected as the research object, and the principal component analysis method is used to measure the indicators of high-quality development of the economy; at the same time, fixed effect, mediation effect, threshold effect and spatial Durbin model are established, and entrepreneurship is included in the research system to explore the Internet, entrepreneurship and high-quality development of the economy The relationship between the Internet, entrepreneurship and economic high-quality development. The results of the study show that: (1) overall, the Internet promotes high-quality economic development; (2) the Internet will promote high-quality economic development by inspiring entrepreneurship, and when entrepreneurship is active to a certain extent, the positive impact of the Internet on high-quality economic development will be more obvious; (3) the level of high-quality development of neighboring economies promotes each other, and the Internet of the surrounding cities has a favorable impact on the high-quality development of the city's economy. favorable impact, this city Internet will, also promote the surrounding economic high-quality development.
