Abstract

Abstract As a coral reef in marine protected area in Tegal Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia, Karang Jeruk has been receiving several rehabilitation efforts in the past. Yet, the result have not been comprehensive so far. It is therefore to sustain; the reef requires a planned and synergistic effort by considering several dimensions. This study aims to analyze the level of sensitivity and level of sustainability of the reef by means of RAPFISH 2013 Version R, a multidimensional scaling approach. The results showed that the highest sustainability index was the ecological dimensions (80.08), followed by technological dimensions (59.42), social dimensions (44.83), institutional dimensions (29.41) and finally the economic dimensions (25.23). Hence, constructive priorities are needed for dimensions with low sustainability index values, so that equilibrium is achieved on all dimensions.
