Abstract
Abstract
The findings demonstrate that as the annealing temperature is raised, the proportion of low angle grain boundaries (2-15°, LAGB) in the 2024 aluminum alloy falls, and the proportion of high angle grain boundaries (≤15°, HAGB) increases. The strength and hardness of the alloy drop as the degree of recrystallization rises, but the plasticity and toughness rise. The texture becomes less intense, and there is an evolution path of Brass + Copper → R-Cu + m-Brass + Cu35° + α55° + {101}<232> → P0° + Goss → V + F. Σ3 coincidence site lattice (CSL) grain boundary's volume fraction grows, increasing the grain boundary's resistance to corrosion.
