Abstract

Abstract Clustering is one of the important and widely used techniques for exploratory data analysis. In this paper we have proposed an arbitrary shaped clustering technique for spatial datasets. This method consists of two phases. In the first phase grid based technique is being applied to get the representative means and then identify the arbitrary shaped clusters with these means in the second phase. We have compared our technique with other techniques for comparison purpose.
