Abstract

Abstract The present study aimed to investigate the eye movement characteristics of basketball players during free throws at different intensities. This study selected 20 professional female basketball players wore a mobile eye tracker and made free throws at low, moderate and high exercise intensities. Eye movement data were recorded using the Tobii Glasses 3 eye tracker.Three kinds of exercise intensity under the free throws, front, top,bottom,top left, bottom left and bottom right average number of fixation was significantly different, front, bottom, top left and bottom right average fixation duration were significantly different, average pupil dilation was significantly significant.With the increase of exercise intensity, the total average number of fixation and fixation duration gradually increased, the pupil dilation increased, and the average number of fixation and fixation duration of AOI changed.The increase of exercise intensity leads to the distraction of attention, the automatic calculation ability of vision is reduced, and the information search strategy is decreased. The automatic information processing mode is destroyed and the control ability of the cognitive system is reduced, the fixation stability is changed, and the information processing ability is decreased.
