Impact of free vibration on the T-beam deck slab bridge

Abstract

Abstract Due to its simplicity in design, construction, and upkeep, the T-beam bridge is the most popular and widely used type of bridge. When it comes to establishing connectivity over both short and long distances, this kind of bridge is more widely used. The mechanisms of vibration resonance for a T-beam deck slab bridge subjected to a moving load series are being probed. the purpose of this article is to calculate the natural frequencies and mode shapes of the Bridge under a variety of cross-sections, material qualities, and support situations. Using the finite element method, this paper attempts to compare the natural frequencies caused by free vibration in a girder and slab and a full-structure T-beam Deck Slab bridge. In finite element software like ANSYS, the bridge is analysed as a three-dimensional model. The natural frequencies and mode shapes of the model would give us the minimum time period and maximum frequency of the bridge on ANSYS software.
