Abstract
Valorizing Diamond Industry Waste: Harnessing Diamond-Enriched (> 80%) Solid Residues for Micro and Nanodiamonds. This study focuses on transforming diamond industry waste into an Epoxy-Diamond Composite, establishing covalent interactions for improving physical strength and achieving uniform nanodiamond distribution. Comprehensive characterization through FTIR, XRD, and SEM, coupled with analyses of heat transfer, tensile strength, and thermal stability, highlights significant advancements in the composite (1 wt% diamond) compared to pure epoxy. Results showcase enhanced physical strength (44%), augmented thermal stability (27%), and increased heat transfer rate (76%). Our approach offers a practical avenue for the effective utilization of industrial waste in real-world applications.
