A new synthesis of (Z)-arylbenzoyl(phenethyl)carbamothioic-N-phenylbenzohydrazonic thioanhydride derivatives by reaction of secondary amides, carbon disulfide and hydrazonoyl chlorides

Abstract
A new synthesis of (Z)-arylbenzoyl(phenethyl)carbamothioic-N-phenylbenzohydrazonic thioanhydride derivatives is described using amides, substituted hydrazonoyl chlorides in presence carbon disulfide and MeONa as the base in DMF at room temperature. The approach requires no complex equipment and utilizes inexpensive, and easy to handle hydrazonoyl chloride as third component of starting materials to afford of this novel class of compounds.
