Abstract

Abstract This study aims to test the effect of sectors that are able to complement the green building in influencing Yogyakarta regional economy. This study also adds element of environment externalities obtained from YoY and the average of Yogyakarta EQI change into the calculation of the I-O table. Generally, this study indicate that the application of green building can be implement by Government for pro-environment economic growth. The researcher found that green building which adheres to the concept of weak complimentary theory will be appropriate when applied to the design of priority development cities for development pruposes such as in construction and real estate sectors.
