Abstract

A 70-year-old hypertensive and past smoker gentleman presented an acute ischemic stroke with an NIHSS score of 12. Intravenous thrombolysis using Alteplase led to a remarkable recovery, reducing the NIHSS score to 2 within 48 hours. This highlights intravenous thrombolysis' efficacy in acute ischemic stroke management in low-resource settings in Bangladesh.
