Abstract
Abstract
A Morgagni hernia is a rare type of congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) that accounts for 3% of all CDH cases. Among the types of Morgagni hernias, a particularly rare form exists, which is characterized by a central defect involving both the diaphragm and pericardium. In such cases, the liver herniates into the pericardial cavity. Accurate prenatal diagnosis is beneficial for the management of affected fetuses and newborns.
