This paper aims to explore the significance of green infrastructure in residential within the urban and suburban areas. Green infrastructure refers to the strategically planned and interconnected network of natural and semi-natural areas, such as parks, gardens, and green spaces, designed to provide multiple environmental, social, and economic benefits. This study investigates the various aspects of green infrastructure and evaluates its essentiality in the context of neighbourhood area. By examining the advantages and challenges associated with the implementation of green infrastructure, this paper seeks to provide insights into the importance of incorporating green spaces in residential areas for sustainable urban development. We can conclude that incorporating green infrastructure in the residentials area is essential for sustainable urban development. It provides a roadmap for policymakers, urban planners, and developers to create greener and more liveable residential environments in our region.
