Abstract

Abstract Patent urachus connects the urinary bladder with the umbilicus and is an intra-abdominal portion of the allantois duct. In most cases, the urachus obliterates at approximately six weeks of gestation. The prenatal diagnosis of patent urachus is rare and can lead to both maternal and physician anxiety. Here in we present a case of prenatal diagnosis of open urachus by demonstrating a bi-directional flow from the bladder to both the penis and the urachus and its outcome.
