Abstract
The complexation of molybdenum(VI) with methyliminodiacetic acid (MIDA) at pH
= 6.00, T = 298 K , I = 0.1 mol.dm-3 of sodium chloride and different water +
methanol solutions (0-45% v/v) was studied by using potentiometric and UV
spectrophotometric measurements. The stability constants values were
calculated and their trends have been interpreted by using the
Kamlet-Abboud-Taft (KAT) model in order to investigate the role of different
specific and non-specific interactions in the aqueous solutions of methanol.
Hyperquad 2013 and Microsoft Excel 2010 softwares have been used for the
calculations.
