Abstract
The sixth set of seven letters of Mu marks the movement of black life and death beyond legal logics of self-evident truth. Especially listening to audio evidence, while reading written laws and evidence gathered in prosecutions of police for lethal use of force against black citizens, writing opens up to the savoir of res nulla loquitur, the no thing that speaks. The sound of this speech, which comes from the outside of jurisdiction, is a murmuring that persists in response to Sandra Bland’s own questions about the significance of her arrest, detention, and death in custody.
