Abstract
One of the most frequently raised criticisms of the review process for manuscripts is that the length of time between submission of a manuscript and the editorial decision is overly long. Taking the journal Angewandte Chemie International Edition as an example and based on nearly
2000 manuscripts, the present study examined just how long the peer review process takes.
