Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the validity-reliability of the Turkish version of the Nursing-Delirium Screening Scale (Nu-DESC TR). Hundred fifty intensive care patients with a stay in the intensive care unit not exceeding 48 hours, not in a coma state (RASS: between -3 and +4, GCS: 10 and above), without a story of a formerly diagnosed neurologial and psychiatric disease that may prevent the diagnosis of delirium (dementia, psychosis, mental retardation, neuromuscular disorder, head injury, brain operation, paralysis), without dementia (IQCODE score
