Abstract
The Taiwanese bee species of the subgenus Leuchalictus Warncke, 1975 of the genus Lasioglossum Curtis, 1833 are revised. Three species are recognised, Lasioglossum formosae (Strand, 1910), Lasioglossum subopacum subopacum (Smith, 1853), and one new species, L. subinoum sp. nov., which was formerly misidentified as L. inoum (Cameron, 1904). Lasioglossum formosae is redescribed based on the topotypic specimens. It is concluded that L. occidens (Smith, 1873) is not distributed in Taiwan. A key to the Taiwanese species is provided, and the distribution of all species is mapped.
