Abstract
Dental care for children with autism is one of the most complex types of medical care because of the multitude of sensory stimuli: auditory, olfactory, and visual. Social and behavioral deficits reduce the ability of such children to adapt independently to dental visits, which in turn justifies the need to develop new methods of preparation for treatment.
