Abstract
This issue of the Interdisciplinary Journal of Signage and Wayfinding provides findings from emerging research informing the design and use of technology and traditional signage for enhanced wayfinding in a diverse array of complex visual environments. Some of the results reported here will likely have important implications for the design and use of wayfinding systems in interior, as well as outdoors environments.
