1. The treatment of product 5? using DBU under anhydrous conditions was carried out at room temperature: DBU (20 ?L) was added to 20 ?l of a solution (45.7x10-3 M) 5? in acetonitrile, and the mixture was stirred for 1 hour at room temperature. Then the reaction mixture was diluted with acetate buffer with pH 3.8 until pH 7 and analyzed by HPLC. A mixture of 6a and 7a was obtained.
