1. Strikingly, by transformation of MdMED81, we observed that the key flowering genes such as FT, LFY, AP1, GI, FKF1 and CO are upregulated and the transition from the vegetative phase to flowering happens at an early response (Figure 12). SOC1 was found to have declined in the OE plants. It might be due to the fact that once the AP1 is activated, it declines the SOC1 to avoid floral reversion. The equation we presented in the current study can be used to compute the MdMED81 regulation and also determine the control of flowering time in M. domestic.
