1. BCs was dominant in HNPs for most species, and the accumulation of HNPs (or BCs) appears to be related to the species size, as large species tend to burden more BCs, while smaller ones tended to burden more 2,4,6-TBP. In addition, for species with a greater burden of BCs, BC-2 was generally much higher abundant than than BC-3. Finally, the sum-BC amounts showed a significant positive correlation with the concentration of other minor brominated HNPs (BC-1, BC-11 and Br 6 -DBP), which revealed that the occurrence of brominated HNPs in the Seychelles waters of the Indian Ocean may point to the same class of natural producers;CRediT authorship contribution statement Qiong Wu: Investigation, Formal analysis, Visualization, Writing -original draft.
