Next Bonaparte et Napol�on extracts from the celebrated Grand Dictionnaire universel du XIX�me si�cle by Pierre Larouse (1817-1875), published by M�moire du Livre (2002) and prefaced respectively by Laurent Joffrin and Maurice Agulhon. Finally, the Vie de Napol�on par lui-m�me, Gallimard (1930) where Andr� Malraux shows us Napoleon through a selection of his writings and which gives a remarkable view of the real Napoleon.
