Abstract
Within the framework of this article, an experiment was conducted to determine the coefficient of energy loss of oscillatory motion. The analysis of the behavior of the frequency dependence of the coefficient showed that the approximation by a polynomial
of degree 7 gives the most approximate result to the experimental values. The standard deviation of the experimental data from the polynomial is consistent with the error of the experimental data.
