Abstract
The phenomenon of migration also existed concurrently with the existence of human history. It is known that immigrants lead to many changes in the countries they migrate to. With the beginning of migration movements, changes are experienced in economic, political, social, cultural, and other areas. The European Union has become a target point of migration movements due to its good living standards and sensitivity to democracy, the rule of law, and human rights. Most migrants making their way to the European Union apply for asylum. The European Union is experiencing great difficulties due to the recent mass migration movements. Mass migration flows into the European Union have led to a test of the Union's values. The European Union has started to implement security-oriented policies to cope with mass migrations. Its policies on migration and asylum have also led to the development of human rights problems.
In this study, the objective is to examine the asylum and migration policies of political groups within the European Parliament. The views of these groups in the context of asylum and migration policies will be examined, and their similarities and differences will be reviewed.
