Abstract

Abstract Herein, we describe the synthesis of polyfuran, polyaniline, and their copolymer nanocomposites by in-situ oxidative polymerisation of corresponding monomers in the presence of montmorillonite, using ammonium persulfate as an oxidant. The obtained nanocomposites were characterised by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, and UV-vis spectroscopy.
