Abstract

<p>The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park was the main venue for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The vision for the site included its transformation into a legacy park with additional housing and other significant societal benefits.</p><p>The engineers within the client, designer and contractor organisations have ensured that sustainability in all its different aspects have been seriously considered and positively addressed. This has led to a project which has received various awards for sustainability.</p>
