Abstract
First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Disease Models & Mechanisms, helping early-career researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Kathrin Pfeifer is first author on ‘ Patient-associated mutations in Drosophila Alk perturb neuronal differentiation and promote survival’, published in DMM. Kathrin is a postdoc in the lab of Ruth Palmer at the University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden, investigating aberrant Alk signalling in Drosophila.
