Abstract
A new rhagophthalmid species, Menghuoius wukong Wang sp. nov., is described from Hunan, China. The species is similar to its congeners in general appearance, but can be separated based on a combination of the following characters: body more robust, pedicel relatively shorter, sternite IX distinctly curved ventrally in anterior part, median lobe much stouter with lateral margins oblique above lateral protuberances. As a result, including the new species, a total of four species of the genus Menghuoius are recorded from the Oriental Realm.
