Abstract

This chapter explores the potential of using open educational resources (OERs) to promote inclusive education settings in Tamil Nādu. The research method adopted for this study is a descriptive survey among with 275 research scholars. The chapter aims to understand the awareness, availability, and utilization of OERs among research scholars in Tamil Nādu, and to identify the opportunities for using OERs to promote inclusive education settings in the region. The survey mode under questionnaire includes questions such as the awareness of OERs, the sources from which research scholars access OERs, and their utilization in teaching and learning. The findings of the survey will help to gain an understanding of the usage of OERs and the potential of using them to promote inclusion in Tamil Nādu. The results of this survey will also be beneficial in understanding the current status of OER usage and the opportunities for utilizing them to improve the quality of education in the region.
