Abstract

Post-pandemic, there has been an exponential growth in the adoption of remote work and remote learning. Recent years have marked a significant growth in technologies to assist humanity in integrating effortlessly into the virtual world. Communication tools such as Zoom, Teams, and Slack have become essential tools everybody must be comfortable working on. Digital literacy has become a vital skill any worker requires to sustain their job. For remote work and learning, there is an increased emphasis on soft skills such as time management, collaboration, communication, and perseverance. One must be self-directed and disciplined to succeed in a less supervised environment. Overall, technologies have transformed how we work and learn, and it will be interesting to witness how they will continue evolving in the coming years.
