Abstract
Children and teens often use the internet today. Because kids and teens are using the internet more frequently, a new kind of bullying (harassment) called cyberbullying has emerged. The schoolyard is no longer a place where harassment is accepted. Cyberbullying is the term used to describe harassment that takes place online. Cyberbullying has commonly been described as a “extreme, deliberate activity or action carried out by an individual or a group utilising electronic forms of contact, repeatedly and over time against a victim who cannot quickly defend himself or herself.” In addition to mail, pictures, messages, smartphones, internet, and social media sites, bullying may also happen through other avenues. A 22-year-old girl in Kerala, India, who was a famous TikToker, supported the Kerala minister's approaches towards cyberbullying. Only because of that has she been continuously bullied by her followers. The followers used bad commends and threatened her by saying she will be raped by them. Impact of cyberbullying, preventive measures, and law support are discussed here.
