Abstract

The chapter delves into three objectives. Firstly, the chapter aims to find out the intersectionalities of religious events and the Indian tourism industry. For the second objective, the impact of the COVID-19 disease on religious events will be briefly discussed. Lastly, this work will discuss the various emergent prospects, themes, trends, and challenges that will emerge on the paths of the recovery of religious events and pilgrimage tourism post-COVID-19. This work is theoretical in nature and can be classified as a viewpoint article that follows a conceptual research design.
