Abstract

To have a sustainable mobility, a robust charging infrastructure will play an important role with the growing number of electric vehicles (EV). They are dubbed as the electric mobility revolution to reduce carbon emission and to limit global warming. The hybrid energy conversion system (wind & solar) is individually connected to an isolated DC link of the cascaded H bridge multi-level inverter, through their respective DC to DC converter based maximum power point tracking system. The hybrid energy conversion system suffers the voltage imbalance as two distinct sources are augmented among isolated DC links, which affects the grid stability. The system is designed to impart maximum power extraction from RE and inject into grid. The test system has been considered and analysed in MATLAB Simulink environment.
