Abstract
Technology, mass customization, and advanced manufacturing are all undergoing rapid change. Since they can now be used in conjunction with advances in artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction, robots are becoming even more significant. However, humans keep their importance in manufacturing as the most dynamic factor in the system. At this point, Industry5.0 proposes a solution, a strong necessity to increase productivity while not removing human workers from the manufacturing industry. It is a requirement that people and machines collaborate and progress with each other's strengths to develop an industrial ecosystem that is more effective, productive, and sustainable. In this chapter, the authors discussed the industry's historical development as well as some supporting technologies and potential applications for Industry 5.0, especially digital twin and human digital twin technologies, implementations, and their key points. Also, the components, benefits, and difficulties of these concepts were mentioned.
