Abstract
Sustainable smart cities aim to provide a number of opportunities to achieve sustainable development and face challenges related to climate change, that is the great challenge facing the future of life on the planet. Information and communication technology is one of the basics in the field of monitoring climate change, mitigating its effects and adapting to it, such as the field of early warning system and smart applications. That transforms the way services are provided in areas including energy, waste, and water management to reduce carbon footprint and address environmental challenges, the role of modern technology, the internet of things (IOT) and artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
