Abstract

Artificial intelligence, which is one of the most advanced and growing technologies in today's era, has helped a lot in improving the HR activities like recruitment, staffing, training and development, career planning, and so on. With the changing digitalized scenario, there are many technological advancements that take place in the area of human resources, which helps HR professionals to perform their tasks in a better way within a minimum timeframe. In this chapter, the author focuses on the revolution of AI in the field of human resources. The importance of AI in HR is also an area of concern in this chapter. With the fast-moving scenario, the author also focuses in the developmental areas of AI technology-based programs and applications in the organizations. Ethics in AI also needs to be followed by the organizations, which is also an area which is taken into consideration by the author. Among the applications, AI can shortlist the best possible fits in just the wink of eye and hence reduce human effort.
