Abstract

A new era of technology has evolved over the years. Reliability has grown because of its accessibility, speed, and efficiency. This has enabled us to maintain the environment ranging from reducing pollution to low consumption of electricity. Nowadays we are relying so much on digital gadgets that it has started to play an important role in our daily lives, as these digital gadgets can connect with many other devices, making us perform our tasks more easily. With the help of the home automation system, we can not only connect several different devices, but we can also reduce the power consumption. The hallmark of home automation in this proposed work is a remote control, which is done either through a mobile application or a voice assistant. In this system, the mobile application is used for the Android system and for connectivity, Bluetooth has been used as the medium to control the devices. The mobile application allows them to control the devices in real-time. In addition, a capacitive switch that replaces the toggle switch has been used.
