Holistic Creativity and Harmonious Mega-Innovation for Sustainable Development

Abstract

This chapter focuses on systemic cross-functional and cross-border approaches to the creation of a harmonious mega-innovation (HarmInn) that fosters sustainable development globally. Harmonious mega-innovation is applied across several sectors of the economy. HarmInn uses a holistic development process that puts the well-being of people, organisations, and our planet at the centre of innovative strategies and entrepreneurial actions aimed at designing and building a better and sustainable future. Holistic mega-creativity and harmonious mega-innovation start from adopting a global mindset and seeing the Earth as a small planet to take care of, not a huge planet to survive on. The author argues that disruptive innovations may break obsolete man-made rules but should stay in harmony with eternal laws of the universe. The author uses the example of the global Innompic ecosystems and World Innompic Games to illustrate this approach.
