Abstract

Between 2017 and 2021, the RISE model (route of innovation and business sustainability) structured by the authors of this chapter and Ean University colleagues, has been applied in 126 organizations of different sizes and economic sectors in Colombia. This model is composed of nine factors (innovation, sustainable production, leadership and strategic management, collaborative processes, organizational culture, recognition, new markets, technology, and financial indicators). Four dimensions are analyzed for each factor and in turn, these dimensions are described in 48 variables, among which is happiness at work. The objective of this chapter is to present the analysis of the variables that best explain happiness at work in Colombian companies. The data of the 106 organizations were processed with the statistical package Statgraphic centurión XVI, using factorial analysis using multiple regression, and three variables explain between 46.95% and 48.45% of the managerial decision to strengthen happiness at work to generate a harmonious organizational culture.
