Abstract

The aim of the study was to find the influence of leadership on employee motivation and performance in the private sector in Albania. The project used a case study as the research design. A questionnaire and semi-structured interviews were used as the primary means of data collection to gain an understanding of how employees form their opinions about the Agna Group. Agna Group employees were selected to meet the target demographic and a random sample of 112 employees was selected for this study. The study revealed that motivational variables such as management, pay, work environment, perception of organizational support, training, recognition, and rewards influence employees' motivation levels and job satisfaction. The study showed that Agna Group employees had a good relationship between management and employee performance and productivity, but it had no effect on talent prevention. The study results can be useful for employers and employees to increase awareness of the aspects that lead to high levels of motivation and job satisfaction.
