Voice-Based E-Mail System for Visually Impaired People Using AI Techniques

Abstract

It is unavoidable for the current generations to utilize internet technology to the fullest extent due to the increased use of technology and its boundless opportunities. It provides lightning-fast connection and communication capabilities, which saves valuable time and effort. Email, being one of the most extensively utilized aspects of the internet, acts as the basic prerequisite. While there are plenty of options for abled users to access email, people with disabilities such as the visually challenged have limited facilities like screen readers. However, innovations in speech processing and recognition have made it possible to perform basic tasks with simple voice commands. Thus, the authors aim to use that to offer voice assistance to people who are visually impaired. They can chat with people using voice assistance in addition to email.
